1 Order, Delivery and Returns.
1.1 I have a question about an order and/or a product that I haven't bought in the webshop.
For questions about products that weren't bought in our webshop, it is best to contact the store where you bought the product. Sadly, we cannot help you any further.
1.2 I am not content with a product I ordered.
That's a real shame! We'd like to hear what is wrong with it, so that we can take that into consideration as we make new products.
You can return your order using the return form on the website. To do this you go to your account, click on 'my orders', then 'view'. The shipping costs of your return will not be refunded.
1.3 What is the delivery time?
Because we are (as of yet) a small webshop, we are unable to guarantee daily delivery. That is why we only send out products on monday and thursday. If you order on those days before 12 o'clock (noon), then your order will be sent out that same day. If you order between 12 o'clock on thursday and 12 o'clock on monday, your order will be sent on monday. If you order between 12 o'clock on monday and 12 o'clock on thursday, your order will be sent on thursday.
If you really can't wait any longer because you need a product as a gift or for some other reason, you can contact us - perhaps we can fix the order for you more quickly.
1.4 What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs for standard mail in the Netherlands are €2,50, for parcel post this is €4,95. For Belgium and Germany there’s a rate of € 7,95 per order. For all other countries we advise you to calculate the shipping costs for yourself when you check out!
Shipping within the Netherlands is free on orders of €25 and up. Free shipping to Germany and Belgium on order of €35 or more! For the rest of the world shipping is free on orders over € 75,-.
1.5 Can I return ordered products?
Returns are possible for all unused products up to 14 days after receiving said articles. You can fill out the return form in your account, click on orders and then click on return. The costs of sending a return are for the buyer. When we have received the return, we will send you an email as confirmation. This is usually the case within 7 days. Once we have received the return, we will refund your money within 14 days.
1.6 Can I cancel my order?
Once your order has been placed and payed for it is not possible to cancel it. We make an exception in cases when your order can not be send to you within 30 days after your payment has been made. In this case you have the right to cancel and ask for a refund. Additionally, in case the price for the product you have ordered has increased after you have placed the order, it is within your right to cancel the order without additional costs.
1.7 With which postal service do you send your products?
All our orders are sent through MyParcel. Within the Netherlands and Belgium they use PostNL.
2 Our products
2.1 Can I also buy your products in a physical store?
Yes, of course! At many bookshops in the Netherlands (and a few in Belgium) they sell products from our collection. Click here to find a map with bookstores that definitely sell our products. That saves shipping costs :)
2.2 Will there be new products added to the webshop?
Yes! We are constantly thinking up and developing new Bookish Gifts. Keep an eye on our website and social media (@blossombooks) for updates on new products.

Blossom Books is the best Young Adult publisher in the Netherlands. Aside from awesome books, we also make all the gifts that are available in this webshop. Our goal is to spread the book love! You can show us you are a proud reader and help us spread it!
4.3 I would like for you to use my picture on your website, is that possible?
Yes, we would love to! We are always looking for happy customer pictures. However, we cannot just use any picture - the theme of our website is white and we prefer pictures that fit that theme. Do you have a good picture? Tag us on Instagram (@spreadthebooklove) and we might use your picture!
4.4 Who took all those beautiful pictures?
Most of our pictures were taken by Charlotte from the Instagram @booksandteacups. The pictures on our product pages were taken by various customers, who's names are always mentioned in the product description. Is there no name in the description? Then the picture was taken by us (@blossombooks or @spreadthebooklove)!
